There are tons of materials to collect in Genshin Impact, some of which are ascension materials, and others used for crafting items. When new characters release, it’s time to get your items organized and start farming for any necessary components you might need. Here’s where to find Windwheel Aster in Genshin Impact.
Windwheel Aster is an ascension material used for Bennett, Sucrose, and Main Character. There are two locations with lots of Windwheel Asters, and they are very close to a teleport location, making for some easy farming. Continue reading below for some good example locations. When farming these, consider running two Anemo characters to get the following Elemental Resonance:
- Impetuous Winds: Decreases Stamina Consumption by 15%. Increases Movement Speed by 10% and Shortens Skill CD by 5%.
By having Impetuous Winds, you can roam around more efficiently without continuously draining your stamina. You can also further use food buffs like A Buoyant Breeze, which decreases Stamina consumption by 25% for 30 minutes. Another good item is Delicious Sticky Honey Roast, which does the same but for 900 seconds.
Windwheel Aster Locations in Genshin Impact
Windwheel Aster is a local specialty of Mondstadt, found mostly near The Statue of The Seven at Windrise. You can also find it under trees in the wild, as well as in Stormterror’s Lair. Here’s maps of the spawn points:
Right next to the Statue of the Seven, you can find four Windwheel Aster. Continue to the south near the river, and you can find six more. Head a bit east and you can pick up about five more Windwheel Asters.
Northeast of Dawn Winery
Next, you can teleport over to the Statue of The Seven northeast of Dawn Winery. There are seven Windwheel Aster plants scattered around the Statue, and you don’t have to travel far.
Finally, there’s a good amount of Windhweel Asters in Stormterror’s Lair. You’ll have to do a bit of walking to collect them all, but with these three locations, you’ll have more than enough.
Now that you know where to find Windwheel Aster in Genshin Impact, it’s time to start farming. Windwheel Asters appear to be on a two-day respawn timer, so you can run this farm route a couple times per week. Enjoy!
