Genshin Impact version 1.5 update is upon us, and we have a lot of new content to explore in Teyvat. One of the exciting new features is the ability to create furnishings from various new collectible resources. Many of the new furnishings require wood, and there are a few different types, so we want to guide you through where to find each of them. Here’s where to find all wood types in Genshin Impact, including Fir, Sandbearer, Cuihua, Cedar, Pine, Bamboo, and Birch.

Where to Find All Wood Types in Genshin Impact

Here are the seven types of wood in Genshin Impact, and the corresponding regions:

  • Fir Wood: Starfell Valley, Galesong Hill.
  • Sandbearer Wood: Minlin and Lisha.
  • Cuijua Wood: Bishui Plain.
  • Fragrant Cedar Wood: Starfell Valley.
  • Pine Wood: Dragonspine.
  • Bamboo Segment: Bishui Plain.
  • Birch Wood: Windwail Highland.

Where to find Fir Wood in Genshin Impact

  • Cuijue Slope
  • Dadaupa Gorge
  • Cape Oath
  • Galesong Hill
  • Starfell Valley

Fir Wood comes from trees known as Faber’s Fir, which are abundant in the Mondtsadt forests. You can find many of them in eastern Mondstadt, in areas like Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath. These trees also grow in Liyue, and you’ll find them in areas around Cuijue Slope.

Where to find Sandbearer Wood in Genshin Impact

  • Guili Plains
  • Lihua Pool
  • Cuijue Slope
  • Dunyu Ruins
  • Minlin
  • Lisha

Sandbearer wood is a timber that comes from the Sandbearer Trees. It is said to be resistant to wind and rain and has a long lifespan. There’s plenty of this stuff in Liyue, including areas like the Guili Plains, Lihua Pool, Cuijue Slope, and Dunyu Ruins.

Where to find Cuihua Wood in Genshin Impact

  • Springvale
  • Wolvendom
  • Starfell Valley
  • Bishui Plain

Cuihua wood is timber obtained from Cuihua Trees. You can typically find Cuihua Trees in the forests of Mondtsadt, including areas like Springvale and Wolvendom. These are easy to spot because they are the same trees that grow Sunsettia.

Where to find Fragrant Cedar Wood

  • Wolvendom
  • Starfell Valley

Fragrant Cedar wood comes from Cedar trees, which are found in the forests of Mondstadt. Wolvendom is an excellent area to find these, as there are many right next to the teleport point.

Where to find Pine Wood in Genshin Impact

  • Dragonspine
  • Mondstadt

Pine Wood is timber obtained from pines and considered to be very sturdy. It’s one of the more accessible types of wood to find because it’s endemic to Dragonspine. Look for the snowcovered trees, and give them a whack. You can also find Pine Wood from the smaller pines in Mondstadt.

Where to find Bamboo Segment in Genshin Impact

  • Qingce Village

Bamboo Segments are lighter and stronger than they might appear, and you’ll find them from Bamboo Trees. The best spot to find Bamboo Segments in Genshin Impact is around Qingce Village, in western Mondstadt.

Where to find Birch Wood in Genshin Impact

  • Windwail Highland
  • Dawn Winery
  • Springvale
  • Wolvendom

Birch is a timber obtained from Bitch Trees. You can spot birch trees by looking for the white-colored bark. These trees are primarily found in the Windwail Highland region, including Dawn Winery, Springvale, and Wolvendom. There’s some right near the Statue of the Seven in this area.
