Amongst the wealth and riches you discover throughout your journeys in England, you will likely come across some Roman Artifacts. These show up as a mask icon on the map, and they usually require solving a puzzle to get to them. As you progress through the game, you may be wondering what to do with Roman Artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Here’s everything you need to know.

What to do with Roman Artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

As you level up your main town of Raventhorpe, you will be able to build more amenities. One of the buildings you can construct is a museum, and this is where you bring your Roman Artifacts. At around settlement rank three, you can build the Museum for 600 Crate and 45 Barrel supplies (or whatever those supply icons represent).

After you construct your Museum, you can head inside and speak with Octavian Claudius Britannicus, the collector of Roman relics. He specializes in all things Roman and can restore the ancient relics you bring to him. He also provides you with some excellent rewards as well. Note that you’ll need to collect and bring all five to him at once; otherwise, the option may not be selectable.

In exchange, Octavian will give you some things like a Roman Horse Statue Scheme at five artifacts and a Roman Olympian Statue at seven artifacts. These items are decorative objects you can place throughout your settlement by interacting with the small red dragon statue in a given area.

Look out for the mask icons on your map as you’re traveling and raiding throughout Wessex, Mercia, and Northumbria. Try building your Museum around settlement rank four, as that’s when you will probably have enough artifacts to turn into him. That is unless you have been prioritizing exploring and collecting.
