May 6th marks the beginning of the 2021 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational, held in Iceland, bringing together 12 teams to fight for the first major international tournament trophy. Regardless of the tier, each of the 12 LoL-organized regions will be sending their first-place finishers for the 2021 Spring Split. Here are the teams that have qualified in the Tier 3 level of the emerging region tier list that will be attending the Icelandic event.

League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational Tier 3 Teams

League of Legends Continental League (LCL) – Unicorns of Love

UOL is a name that has a deep history with the EU LCS (now LEC) and is no stranger to international events, attending both Worlds 2019 and 2020. The team has received high praise regarding its performance in the LCL throughout its two-year history and has made little changes to its successful roster since.

Liga Latinoamérica (LLA) – Infinity Esports

Infinity Esports is a lesser-known name in the region but has made its international debut in 2019, albeit to an unfulfilling start. However, Infinity has always been in the upper echelon of the LLA, striving to make a breakout crusade to stamp the LLA on the map of top-tier esports.

Turkish Championship League (TCL) – İstanbul Wildcats

One of the frontrunners in Tier 3, the TCL has produced many internationally competitive teams such as SuperMassive and Fenerbahce. Although this will be their debut international appearance, the Wildcats may have found their rhythm after a rocky start in the TCL and look to carry on the TCL’s legacy of underdogs to be cautious of.
