After Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us Part 2 would have to be delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus, the game was removed from the PS Store. Which, given the circumstances, is completely understandable. However, after announcing the new launch date of The Last Of Us 2, Sony has returned the game to the shop. So, if you want to pre-order the game digitally and haven’t done so yet, now you can. There’s the Standard Edition for $60, or the Digital Deluxe Edition for $70.

If you want to know more details about the different editions and bonuses therein, you can check out our Last of Us 2 Pre-Order Bonuses & Special Editions Revealed article. Here’s a quick rundown of the digital stuff, though, since we’re on the subject. Pre-ordering the new Last of Us gets you two in-game items (the Ammo Capacity Upgrade and the Crafting Training Manual), as well as the exclusive avatar of Ellie’s tattoo. As for the Digital Deluxe edition, it comes with six PSN avatars, a dynamic PS4 theme, a digital mini art book from Dark Horse, and the digital soundtrack.

So, yeah; The Last of Us Part 2 is back on track. Hopefully, there will be no further hiccups on the way. And who wouldn’t want to play a dark, dreary survival horror game about a world-ending contagion in 2020? I can’t imagine such a silly thing. Anyways, stay indoors, wash your hands, and beware the Last of Us 2 spoilers popping up everywhere like zombie-creating mushrooms.
