The Lava Charm in Terraria is a very valuable item that grants you immunity to lava, and is an important crafting ingredients for items such as Terraspark Boots. The only problem is that the Terraria Lava Charm is incredibly difficult to find. With all that in mind, welcome to our Terraria Lava Charm – Where to Find guide, in which we’re going to give you some pointers on how you can make things a little easier on yourself.
How to Get Lava Charm in Terraria?
To get the Lava Charm in Terraria, you’ll have to search all Chests, preferably Gold Chests, in the Underground layer and below. See, the issue with the Lava Charm is that it is an extremely rare spawn. On top of that, there’s no set location where you might find it. You just have to keep looking and hope for the best. It seems that your odds get slightly bigger in any underground cave or dungeon that’s deep enough to have lava, but that’s not a guarantee whatsoever.
If you’re wondering just how rare the Lava Charm is, I’ll tell you. Sit down if you’re standing up. According to the Terraria Wiki, the drop rate of the Lava charm is around 2.5%. Those are some pretty brutal odds. The best we can tell you is, go into a cave that has lava, and start digging. You might use glowsticks and especially the Spelunker Potion to help you out by making finding chests easier.
