To be a Phantom Thief, you gotta learn to adapt to your environment, and you gotta learn to do it stylishly. Any mook could smash a window and grab some stuff; it takes a real Phantom Thief to leave a crowd of security guards in awe of your infinite style as you knock them to the ground. To be a real master, you gotta learn the Master Arts. Here’s how to unlock Master Arts in Persona 5 Strikers.

Every member of the Phantom Thieves in Persona 5 Strikers starts with a fully stocked combo list. Just like in any other Warriors game, you can unleash all sorts of attacks by alternating your presses of the regular attack button and the special attack button. Just wailing on your foes will only get you so far, however.

To get the most out of your team, you gotta develop their skills. This is where Master Arts come in; every character has a sort of invisible EXP meter that denotes how adept they’ve become at chaining attacks. Whenever they pass a certain threshold, a new Master Art is unlocked, adding an additional twist to one of their existing combos. Sometimes it can be the opportunity for a follow-up, sometimes it’s free -kaja buffs, and sometimes it can be additional Persona attacks. The point is, learning these moves can only help you in your endeavors.

How to Unlock Master Arts in Persona 5 Strikers

Characters will earn experience toward their next Master Art just by participating in combat and using combos, though the catch is that you have to be personally controlling them. Just letting the AI handle it won’t count. Whenever a character crosses that threshold, the game will pause briefly to let you know and show you what their new skill is.

Here’s a quick list of all the Master Arts you can unlock. Bear in mind, this includes all playable characters, so there’s gonna be spoilers near the bottom.
