The Five Flushes of Fortune event can be started by meeting Ji Tong in Liyue Harbor during the Kurious Kamera world quest. This quest unlocks at Adventure Rank 20. Once the quest is unlocked you can visit and speak to Ji Tong to receive the Kurious Kamera gadget. This gadget lets you take pictures of enemies and objects in the world. Once you have the camera you can begin the event.

How to Complete the Five Flushes of Fortune Event

The Five Flushes of Fortune event runs from February 3-10th. During the event players are tasked with taking 10 photos per day of different colored targets. The daily target is given on the Events Overview > Five Flushes of Fortune page (as shown above) or on the top of the screen of the camera. The daily targets players have taken pictures of so far have been:

  1. Red Items.
  2. Blue Creatures.
  3. Red Creatures (Active).
  4. Ongoing.

Each time a player takes a picture of an assigned colored item/creature they receive a random color photograph. There are five total photograph colors to collect: Crimson, Ultramarine, Pale Gold, Ocher, and . Once you’ve collected one of each of the colors you can turn them into Ji Tong for a reward filled Fortune Trove.

How to Take a Photo with the Kurious Kamera

Before diving into the daily targets let’s take a second to address the photo mechanic. The Kurious Kamera is designated a Gadget. Any Gadget is found on your inventory screen under the Gadget tab. Once equipped you will be able to use the Gadget through a simple button combination while controlling your character. This Gadget is used to take photos. Each day you have 10x Film in the camera you can use. You want to take photos of the daily active targets. Once you find a target taking a photo simply means zooming in on it enough so a circle appears around it. After the circle appears it will automatically take a photo. Simple as that.

Day 1: Red Items

The first day of the event tasked players with photographing 10x Red Items throughout the world. These Red Items have been the simplest photographs to find so far as they don’t try to kill you (for the most part) when you attempt to take their photo. The items that counted for this daily challenge included:

  • Apples.
  • Silk Flowers.
  • Flaming Flower.
  • Jueyun Chili.
  • Sunsettias.
  • Snapdragons.
  • Windwheel Asters.

Any of the items listed above counted towards the Red Items photos. All players needed to do on this day was snap a picture of 10x of these Red Items to complete the day’s challenge.

Day 2: Blue Creatures

The second day of the event tasked players with photographing 10x Blue Creatures throughout the world. These Blue Creatures marked a departure from the items we photographed a day earlier. The Blue Creatures that counted for this daily challenge included:

  • Cryo and Hydro Slimes.
  • Hilichurls (Cryo archers/shields), Samachurls (Cryo and Hydro), and Mitachurls (Ice shield).
  • Frostarm Lawachurls.
  • Cryo and Anemo Crystalflies.
  • Anemo Fliers.
  • Cryo Whopper Flowers.
  • Blue Crabs.

Any of the items listed above counted towards the Blue Creatures photos. To complete the day snap a picture of any 10x of these Blue Creatures listed above.

Day 3: Red Creatures (Active)

  • Pyro Slimes.
  • Hilichurl.
  • Foxes.
  • Red Crabs.
  • Squirrels.
  • Pyro Whopperflowers.
  • Big Dendro Slimes.

Any of the Creatures listed above counted towards the Red Creatures photos. To complete the day snap a picture of any 10x of these Red Creatures listed above.

Trading Photos with Friends/Strangers

Due to the RNG nature of this event you may or may not be successful each day you take the ten photos. This means you will likely need to find people to trade photos with. If you are looking for others to trade with drop a comment below of what photo color you are looking for. Try to be as clear as possible when offering your information by including server, IUD, and what you are looking to trade for.

Claiming Fortune Troves

Guaranteed Rewards

  • 60x Primogems.
