Bungie has announced the Destiny 2 Maintenance & Reset Times for December 10th 2019, which Guardians around the world have been dying to know, seeing as how many are impatient to sink their teeth into the upcoming Season of Dawn and everything it will bring to the game. So, let’s take a look at the projected maintenance starting and ending time together.
When Does Destiny 2 Maintenance Start & End on December 10th 2019?
Maintenance in Destiny 2 will start at 8:45 AM PST / 1650 UTC on December 10th. That’s when the game is going to kick everybody out in order to start the new update. Make sure to wrap up whatever you’re doing beforehand, so you don’t end up losing progress. Then, at 9 AM PST / 1700 UTC, or thereabouts, you’ll be able to begin downloading the new Destiny 2 Update 2.7.0. You should be able to start signing on at around 10:00 AM PST / 1800 UTC, since that’s when the game will go back online. Although, you still might experience some issues, since background maintenance will still be ongoing. Lastly, at 11:00 AM PST / 1900 UTC, the maintenance will conclude.
Incidentally, if the download won’t start on Steam, all you have to do is restart it. Steam, I mean, not the game. That should fix the problem in a jiffy.
Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance has begun. Players will be removed from activities at 8:45 AM PST and will be unable to log in until 10 AM. Update 2.7.0 will be available to download at 9 AM.

Everybody has been anxiously awaiting the beginning of maintenance in Destiny 2 to begin today, on December 10th, 2019. This is, of course, because the new Season of Dawn will be arriving with the new patch. This is going to include a brand new six-layer activity, called The Sundail, which will take place on Mercury, and reward you with Saint-14-themed weaponry. The Season of Dawn will also bring a new Artifact, called The Lantern of Osiris, and the Symmetry Exotic scout rifle as a reward for those Guardians that make it far enough through the season rankings, and more.
