Today marks a milestone for Activision’s battle royale game, Warzone. The game has officially surpassed 100 million players worldwide. A post on the official Call of Duty blog highlights some pretty incredible player statistics and other milestones for the game. Just in time for the Warzone Nuke Event to ring in Season 3. Here’s a recap of what the team had to say about it.

Call of Duty: Warzone surpasses 100M players worldwide

Warzone has reached one-hundred million players globally, but that’s not all. Other interesting statistics include over twenty-eight billion matches played, equivalent to over sixty-seven million major tennis tournaments. More players were revived since the game’s launch than there are people in the world. Here are some more stats:

  • 28.8 billion matches.
  • 26.4 billion parachutes deployed.
  • 8.01 billion teammates revived.
  • 8.33 billion fights in the Gulag.

Aside from all these fun Warzone stats, the Call of Duty franchise has sold over 400 million Call of Duty premium games since the first game in October 2003.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is the most recent title in the Call of Duty franchise, released in November 2020. Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
